MetGuessr

MetGuessr is an art recognition game inspired by GeoGuessr.

Given an image of a randomly sampled piece of art, the app challenges you to guess basic facts about it in free text.

Your guess is scored by an LLM prompt. You get partial credit when you’re close. You can bookmark pieces you like or want to return to.

The app is built with an awesome public domain dataset from the Metropolitan Museum of Art.
